“Engineers” of the internet REJOICE!

We here at JK&G Ventures believe in the open source nature of the Crypto space. Upon reflection after the release of the knowledge that we figured this out, we have decided to show you all exactly how we did it. We’ll show you, but anyone who looks at this photo and these words can’t sue us if they blow up their card. Deal?

We have been seeing much speculation on how we did this and I’m just imagining all the self taught ElEcTrIcAl EnGiNeErS in their (or their mom’s) basements sweating nervously over the a2000 they pulled from the workstation their call center job sent them to work from home with. As they stare at the PCB contemplating which chip thing to touch with hot pointy thing, they think about the glory they will get on reddit when they post the results of their sick mod. “That’ll show the Big Bad Man what the community can do!”

Sorry to break it to you dudes, but I’m a part of that open source community and I have been since way back when I was developing waterblocks for the palomino core Athlon XP 1600 and getting them well over 2ghz.

Also, what the hell happened to reading comprehension? Over half the orders we received had to be refunded because the people thought they were buying an a2000 for $85. Holy S$%T people, seriously? I’m no rocket surgeon, but wow, that’s amazing. This was actually a serious component of why we decided to open source this, we can’t deal with people like that constantly and expect to stay in business.

Anyway, the picture here shows how it’s done. It’s not a standard shunt mod like all you warriors out there have been yelling about. It’s simpler than a standards shunt mod and that that’s only possible due to the unique design of the a2000 PCB and the way nVidia chose to make it handle power delivery. Due to this unique design, we can remove the power limit but still get accurate power readings AND not change the power delivery behavior to any component on the board. Yes, all components are powered with the same voltage as the un-modded PCB, calm down all you folks who were yelling about silicon degradation due to “TOO MANY VOOOOOOLTS!! REEEEEEEEEEEE”.

You may resume yelling at each other over how long the PCI-E slot will last. We’ll be over here happily mining away confident in the knowledge we gained through research and critical thinking along with a dash of math. You guys have fun with the argument, I’ve not enough energy to participate.

We’ll continue to offer this as a service, we recognize that not everyone is comfortable poking a soldering iron into the guts of their a2000. We will also continue selling mining accessories and we are developing an a2000 enclosure that fits in a standard 4u server slot, holds 12 a2000, and has the option of being air or water cooled.

Everyone who ordered the mod was given the option of a refund also, so calm down. I could hear the Trolls sharpening their teeth already.

Any farms out there that have questions, feel free to reach out and chat about it with us.

To any of you who want to do this at home, may your irons be hot and your flux be pure. We salute you, good luck.

To all of you who want the professionals who discovered this to do it for you, we’re still here and we still got you. We’ve lowered the standard price to $60, and the redpandamining 20% discount code still works.

To those who are going to find a shop to do it, find a shop you trust.

To the trolls who scoffed at us trying to make a little money in this industry, politely get F$$%&ed.

We will happily accept donations from anyone who appreciates this contribution to the community enough to throw a little crypto our way. If you decide to donate, thank you.
