We have been hard at work unlocking the potential of workstation graphics cards, and the A4000 is the one we found the most potential in.

Our power mod not only increases base performance of the A4000 by roughly 14%, but unlocks the ability to overclock the card to performance levels rivaling an RTX 3070ti equaling a roughly 36% performance increase. Final overclocking results will vary with silicon lottery of course. In addition to the performance gains, we have designed custom brackets to properly retrofit a 3060 ITX cooler onto the A4000 allowing this beast of a card to fit into many SFF builds.

Our customized Power Mod is balanced in a way that is designed to never overload the PCIE x16 slot. We also replace the standard 6 pin power connector with an 8 Pin external power header to support the additional power draw. Total board power with the mod peaks around 205w, measured power draw will need to be multiplied by approximately 1.82x

Turn around time for modification can take up to two weeks from when the card arrives at our facility, but we have been able to keep up fairly well so expect something closer to 3-5 business days.

The power mod and cooler includes installation of:

Custom balanced shunt resistors

Custom brackets to ensure proper pressure on VRM thermal pads and provide mounting for the PCIE bracket

3060 ITX cooler and fan

8 pin PCIE power header
